Art sisters is a group of professional women visual artist who empower each other and the community through art.

It is our belief that the collective energy generated, motivated and inspired by emerging women artist creates synergy. We further believe that the numerous distractions and overwhelming responsibilities that our lives present tend to drain us if we stand alone. therefore, our mission is to unite, support, share, encourage, critique and sometime push our sisters when we can not do it alone.

The Glass Art Society (GAS) is an international nonprofit organization founded in 1971 whose purpose is to encourage excellence, to advance education, to promote the appreciation and development of the glass arts, and to support the worldwide community of artists who work with glass. GAS members are artists, students, educators, collectors, gallery and museum personnel, writers, and critics, among others. Membership is open to anyone interested in glass art.

The Philadelphia Sketch Club “ support[s] and nurture[s] working visual artists ” by providing studio space through our workshops program as well as by providing exhibition and networking opportunities; we support “ the appreciation of the visual arts ” by providing free public access to our exhibitions; we support “ visual arts education ” through our low cost, open enrollment workshop program; and lastly, we promote “ the historical value of the visual arts to the community ” by providing free public access to our historic collections and facility.

HumanKind Design artist are experts in several disciplines including welding, mold-making, painting, finishing, woodworking and the digital arts. What began as a creative collaboration between artist Kate Kaman and designer Joel Erland is now an extensive ad hoc network of sculptures, painters and designers dedicated to fine craftsmanship.

The National Capital Art Glass Guild is a group of glass artists of all persuasions primarily from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC who come together to share ideas, learn from each other, and have fun. We also strive to educate our community about the glass arts, and give our member-artists and their artwork exposure to the whole world. The NCAGG welcomes as members any who have an interest in glass art.
